Michael Taylor

Born in 1953 in Seattle, Washington, I have a long history of exhibiting my art that goes back to 1969. I am a self-taught artist that has developed a style of my own over the years which you can see apparent today. There s a sense of an escaped reality to my work where the viewer is transported to a different place, colors become a little brighter, perspectives deeper, subjects on a positive note. Some have said they're "a place to escape to". The mediums of choice are mixed, mostly painted on wooden panels, stretched canvases, and sometimes on wooden screens.
In the past I have been represented by a number off galleries, but at the present time I am self promoting. However, I am open to representation in a large metro area. A detailed account of where I have shown is available by request. I also enjoy the many followers of my work and am open to everyone.
